Japan's Nippon Steel plans to build the world's largest steel factory in Odisha, India, with an annual production capacity of 30 million tons. In recent years, the Nippon Steel has regarded the Indian market as a new pillar of development. In order to expand the market share of the Indian market, the company and ArcelorMittal has previously discussed to establish AM/NS India, and signed a memorandum of understanding with the Olisa government to invest in two new steel factories, the annual output capacity is 12 million tons and 17 million tons, respectively.
